“ I'm lucky to have traveled through Yuma with a former-local, and she introduced me to Papa-San. I'm so glad she did! The salad was simple, but the ginger dressing really is outta this world! The bowl has a bottom layer of the most PERFECT white rice (not dry, not mushy- good taste), followed by broccoli, string beans, celery, and a heap of chicken cutlets all topped with teriyaki sauce! She asked fir extra cilantro and side of sesame seeds, which were all great. She did warn me that they don't have the most jovial workers, but they have gotten awards for best employer, and many of the employees have been there for several years. I really enjoyed this meal! Especially when driving to San Diego, this was a nice stop where the ginger-dressed salad and rice helps my stomach stay settled, while energizing with the heartwarming teriyaki sauce, then nourishing me with proteins and vegetables. Great spot! I'll definitely be back! ”

“ Not sure why the reviews are the way they are. I've been eating here a couple times a month for over a year and have never had bad food. This place is a staple with the locals. Food is always fresh and fast. I prefer the spicy chicken teriyaki combo. The chicken and rice is always good. The salad has a ginger dressing that is light and flavorful. You get a choice between an egg role or an California roll (2 pieces). The California roll is large pieces and tightly rolled. If you want a sushi burrito hey have one, but it's not on the menu. It takes a little while to be made but is worth it. If you get the burrito get it with crab. ”
